it was messy, we wasted a lot of time, but was sort of fun :D

    Salamet el Mantooseh!
One of the great services in the US is AAA, these guys are fantastic. The come over do everything while you're sitting pretty in your car.
Worth every penny of that yearly subscription

    Hi Rain Drop,
I am visiting from Yabco's blog. Sorry your car had a flat tire. Changing tires is no fun, especially in the rain! But, its always easier when you have some help. :) I am curious, what is the English translation of Mantooseh?

Dave, it would be roughly Binxed (driven from jinxed benz)

Qwaider قويدر: Allah yesalmak ya rab:)
plz don't compare Amman with the USA ;) i donno if u've tried to drive in Amman's streets or not, but if u did, i guess u'd understand why we don't have smth similar to the AAA ;) (although mercedes benz offers a similar service here...) ur roads r much smoother, no bumps like the 1ns we have, and there is no place on earth where u can find such great taxi drivers like here ;)
btw, i loved "binxed", maybe it's time to change her name again ;)

Samir: thanx :) we were trying to find the proper jacking point ;) (we had to use the magical red key to do that ;) (cars totally differ from 1 another!!! this was diffenetly nthg like the Volkswagen's golf :)

it's true that man7ooseh is a benz, bas ele bedree bedree, lol, my brother refuses to drive her, so does 1 of my sisters ;) they say she's too dangerous to be driven, but i got used to her moods... we're finally starting to get along ;)(yet, i still believe i do deserve a new mantooseh :D )

Hind Sabanekh: hehe, seems to be i should take a course on how to do that on different cars ;) i wonder why don't we have such courses in jordan!!! hmmm, i guess mantooseh is sort of nicer than Sameera, she knows when and where should she stop working, drift, get hit by another car, or in this case, decide to play the "u have a flat tire" game ;)
btw, i really love concerts :D it's really nice to have a musician on the blog ;) (welcome :D)

Tala: lol, mo'3amarat mantooseh... 16000km more to go, and i don't think she'll stay around after that ;) it was really fun doing it together, thanx for being there when i needed u ;)

    hello David :)
it's ok, it wasn't that bad ;) actually we sort of enjoyed it, lol
about mantooseh, i used to call the car man7ooseh (jinxed, thanx Qwaider for translating ;), but my mom hated the name, and said that our names sort of has a reflect on us (whatever!), so i had to find a name that's in between... Mantooseh is taken from "mintos", kids candy :) and at the same time, it rhymes with man7ooseh (both parts r happy now ;)

Thanks Qwaider and Rain Drop for the translation. I think its a good thing that the car is not jinxed anymore! :)

I think that I once had a man7ooseh. One day I had two flat tires! Since I only had one spare tire, I had to have my car towed. AAA was definitely useful that day! ;)

    Abed. Hamdan:
hehe, well, this time, she atleast made it to uni ;)
btw, am waaaaaaaaay much older than those two guys, all they wanted was to drive the car, but they weren't that lucky ;) besides, u guys don't "like" to be helped in some cases... this is one ;)

David: lol, mantooseh has been jinxed for the past 10 years, i don't think anything could change the fact that she'll always be jinxed ;)

btw, the only good thing left in mantooseh is that u could still drive her (although i sometimes wonder how she managed to survive!)

i absolutely donno what would i do if i had 2 flat tires!!! probably would call some1 to pick me up, or take a taxi back home... i'll ask my brother to fix the car ;) (one of the advantages of being a girl in arab countries is that this is 1 of the "man's" duties :D )
