Private Thoughts...

it's amazing... how filled with life we may seem to be... but deep inside, filled with sorrow, madness, and lost are we...each day, a thousand times we live and die... we laugh and cry... we close our eyes, in hope not to see, but what's about to happen is to happen, and wether we liked it or not, life continues going on... yet, it is left to us, to choose wether to live surrounded by our misery, or to search for a way, a path to get us out of here...

Perhaps we have internal forces we are mostly unaware of, that do affect the decisions we make, and our thought patterns and feelings. Seems we are a pot of soup inside, and different components float to the surface all the time.

I think the key to sanity is to try and stir that pot and control its temperature, so that we don't let it get out of hand and keep it in perspective. Otherwise, it controls us and we have to run after it and worry about the symptoms rather then the causes.

    Dar :)
the post was about all this happening in the very same person ;) the problem is when this happens at the very wrong time!

    Samir:
i donno if this a real pic or not, but i'll go for it isn't ;) (i tried to make similar foot marks in reality, but they weren't that clear!)

but i guess that the 1 who did them dived into the sea... in hope to reach somewhere else, a new land, a new life, and a new start...

    yea, it's a real weird walk ;)

    Nar:
hmmm, i still don't fully get it... if ur the soup pot, how are you supposed to be able to control it's temperature and keep everything else under control? i mean, there are other external things that do affect the temperature and the components of the soup, and since you're just a pot, how are you going to be able to do that?

    RD,

You are not the pot, but the cook. You can reduce the heat under the pot, cover it, and stir it. The pot is the unconscious part of you and you, the cook, are the conscious part.

If something bad happens, you might become sad, and go deeper into “negative” (=non empowering) thoughts. This is like a pot boiling over. You can control that, by stopping your train of thoughts, form derailing. Tell yourself, “I did the right thing” whenever you have the sad thought, then you will have substituted the negative thought with a “positive” (= empowering) one.

This is what I meant by the pot giving us emotions and thoughts thought the day like you said it. Few people actually think about what they are thinking.
